Top Ten Tuesday: Standalone books that need a sequel

It’s Tuesday again and that can only mean one thing: Top Ten Tuesday – it was created by The Broke and the Bookish, but is now moved to That Artsy Reader Girl! When I was younger, I sort of despised standalone books because I was never ready to let the story go after the end. The Hate U Give – Review

I don’t know how to start. This book sadly is reality, but it is also so much more: an encouragement for oppressed people to stand up, to demonstrate they have a chance, for people to realize this world hasn’t found a resolution for racism and for young people to cherish life and opportunities.
