I was tagged by one of my favorite bloggers Lori’s bookshelf reads to do this awesome tag called “OMG that song!” I think we have all said this sentence hundreds of times in diners, at a friend’s or in the car – and therefore I’m really excited to mix up music and books!
My Jam: A song you have to listen to no matter how much you’ve heard it and a book you’ll never get sick ofFor a song I’ll choose “Last Christmas” by Wham! just because it’s December 1st tomorrow and I can literally listen to this song every year when Christmas is around the corner – and sometimes during the year, randomly.
As for the book I’m choosing, I can always read it and it’s probably on of the books I’ve reread the most in my life. I’m going to go with Kerstin Gier’s Silver due to its humor, plot and characters!

Throwback: A song that reminds you of your cringiest time in your life and a book you read that you wouldn’t like now
For the throwback song I can write down hundreds of the 2010 hits like “Dynamite” by Taio Cruz, “DJ got us falling in love again” by Usher, “We are never ever getting back together” by Taylor Swift or simply, which would explain my cringiest moments: “Baby” by Justin Bieber.
I have read many books during the age ten to maybe twelve or thirteen that I was a huge fan of back then but hate now. The best example would be Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight.

Replay: a recent song you have on repeat and a recent favorite book
I actually mostly listen to oldies but the one recent song I like is Ariana Grande’s “thank you, next” but basically because the first thirty seconds are the best!
My recent favorite book is Marissa Meyer’s Cinder and I am currently reading the sequel to this book and also absolutely loving it and finishing it soon, hopefully!

Wut: a weird song that you liked anyways and a unique book that stuck out to you for some reason
A weird song that I like – not an easy question. I guess I’m going with “I’ll be there for you” by the Rembrandts because it’s weird to listen to the title song of “Friends”.
I’d say “The Hate U Give” by Angie Thomas was really unique as I’ve never read a book looking anything like this, facing this important and tragic problem.

Let’s Go: Pick up your best pump up song and a book that inspires you
The best pump up song would be “”Wake me up before you go go” by Wham! – as you can tell I’m a George Michael fan haha.
A book that inspired the six year version of me was The Penderwicks by Jeanne Birdsall. This book was the book after which I thought I want to be an author and so I bought a yellow book and a blue pen and started writing. PS: Becoming an author is not a main job option for me anymore, lol.

Chill: your best chill or relaxing song and a book you’d curl up with on a rainy day
I love John Legend’s “All of Me” which is probably the most chilled song ever…
I would curl up with JK Rowling’s Harry Potter any rainy day of the year and basically any day of every year of my life.

Addicting: a guilty pleasure song and a light, trashy read you can’t help but love
A guilty pleasure song would be one of the most hated song by my family “It’s raining Men” – but I absolutely love it!
A trashy, light read is basically all that Katie Cotugno writes and I can’t more than one of her books in a row because of that, but sometimes I just enjoy not to be forced to think and just being able to slide into the story without concentrating and therefore I’m choosing her novel Top Ten.

Nostalgia: a throwback song you look back on fondly and a book you read and loved when you were young
The best throwback album is the “1989” album by Taylor Swift with “Shake it off”, “Blank Space” and “Wildest Dreams”. My friends and I went crazy.
When I was twelve years old I was crazy for Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson and I can’t blame myself for loving it.
