After reading Reading with Rendz ‘s entry on books that are never going to be read, I thought I have a couple of those in mind, why not do that right away?!
PS: there are going to be more creative posts the next week as school and exams are killing me and I barely find time to read!
#1: Divergent by Veronica Roth

Yes, I know this sounds weird to a lot of fans, but I never liked this series. I started reading the first book – I even have all three at home for some reason – but it never really clicked. I enjoyed the first movie but then the second was quite boring (even tho I really like Shailene Woodley) so I just know one thing for sure: I’m never going to pick it up again.
#2 Will Grayson, Will Grayson

Again, I started reading this book, in fact read more than 200 pages of John Green & David Levithan’s novel but it just got a bit boring, nothing really happened, I didn’t really like the characters because they were quite simple and I found out that David Levithan is most certainly not Stephen Levithan, the executive producer of “Modern Family”, which is one reason I bought this book. JK, no it was because of John Green. I’m not that weird.
#3 Fantastic Beasts and where to find them

I’ll probably get a lot of hate for this one, too, because we all love Harry. I do, too. But I’m not sure if I’d enjoy this book, mainly because it’s about animals and what they look like, eat and where their natural habitat is. Although I’m a big fan of Harry Potter, I’m never a big fan of side-fan stories, which have not so much in common with the original story.
#4 Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy

Let’s just face it: I’m going to get mocked for this. But let me just explain this: I’m not reading this book because I’m not a HUGE INCREDIBLE AMAZING fan of Cassandra Clare’s work – no, in fact I ordered a signed copy for 60$ and that is only something a fan would do – it’s simply that these extra, side stories don’t interest me. I love the characters, but I’m not interested in reading about Simon training to become a Shadowhunter. It’s basically why I’m not reading “Fantastic Beasts” or the extra to “Red Queen” or the one to “Selection”; because no matter how much I loved the originals, the extras don’t make me feel the same way!
I hope you enjoyed this very negative entry, haha, I’ve never been funny, and have a great day!
Don’t worry, I understand why you would not want to read all of these! Fantastic Beasts wasn’t worth the read, and I agree that the Divergent series isn’t all that great.
