Chain of Gold – Spoiler Review

Chain of Gold left such an impression on me and impacted me more than I thought. I have the urge to talk more about the book, to go into detail and so here is my SPOILER review. Please, if you haven’t read the book and consider to do so, read my other review (click here).

Rereading Faust to prepare for my exam – Reflexion

I read Faust during the Christmas holiday and so it’s been a while: we talked about the drama during the whole months of January and February and actually wanted to write our exam straight away, but then corona and lockdown complicated the situation. I’m back in school now and have to take my exam on Tuesday and so I’ve had so spend a little more time with Goethe again – so here are my new and more-structured, well-informed thoughts!

Rocketman – Mini Review

Freud – Mini Review

So Netflix recentl released a new series called Freud and while I didn’t give it much thought at first, my mom went crazy due to the fact that it’s about the young Sigmund Freud and is set in Vienna. That might not be anything special, but since my grandmother spent a great deal of her childhood in Vienna and I’ve spent every August in our house there, since my mum was very interested in the psychologist Freud and his invention of the psychoanalysis and her best friend is a psychology professor – well, my mum and I watched the series. Long story short, here’s a mini review!

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban – Review

In a wave of sadness to be stuck at home and not being able to go on my planned trip to London this week, I decided to reread Harry Potter, this time my favorite, Prisoner of Azkaban. Here are my thoughts on rereading it and thereby finishing my Harry Potter Rereading Marathon!

I am beyond happy to have finished this HUGE book of almost 600 pages. It felt so good to be back in the Shadowhunter world, in this familiar universe. Here are my thoughts on Cassandra Clare’s newest series, The Last Hours.

First Impressions: Chain of Gold

For some reason, I believed the corona break would be some kind of stress reliever, to stay at home and do like two hours of school every day, but no: our teachers have been actively sending us work and so I’ve had less time than I would have had in school?! Anyways, that’s the reason I haven’t been active the past week, but thank God, today I had some time to catch up on my reading, and so here are my first impressions of Cassandra Clare’s Chain of Gold!
