We are reading this modern play in school, and while I normally dislike all the time spent analyzing the characters, plot and time-period, reading it didn’t feel like torture. So here are my thoughts!

Rereading Twilight – Review
I actually did it – I reread the first Twilight novel by Stephanie Meyer. But it wasn’t totally out of the blue: her new book, Midnight Sun, has been all over the news lately. I’ve read so many negative reviews claiming it to be super annoying, only describing Edward’s hunger and his desperate tries to keep his blood lust under control. Briefly said: I had no other book to read, saw Twilight on my shelf and made the desperate move to take it with me – and I wasn’t able to put it down, despite some very negative thoughts. Here is my wildly confusing, irrational and controversial review of rereading a series I always put in the “I read it when I was 12 and was the biggest fan but now it’s rubbish and I hate it” box.
continue readingSave You – Review
It’s been some time, I haven’t had any time to blog because I’m currently in Italy hiking with my family. This vacation, however, finally led to me finishing two books, so no hard feelings here. It’s taken me some time to get to the second book of Save Me, but now that I finished it, onto the third!
continue readingRivers of London – Review
I finally finished Rivers of London, the book I bought in Vienna! It’s my first day in Italy and I read the last thirty pages chilling by the pool after four hours of hiking. I have a lot of thoughts, very positive and only tiny negative ones – so here’s my review!
continue readingSave Me – Review
I usually never read books in one or two days because I never have the time to do so – but yesterday, I went to the store at eleven am and spent the entire day reading. Today I read the last 100 pages after school and now I am done, desperate to buy the sequel tomorrow and shattered to 100000 pieces because this book was so incredibly great and there isn’t a better feeling in the world than after finishing an overwhelming book in a short time. Here are my thoughts on Mona Kasten’s novel Save Me!
continue readingRereading My Lady Jane – Review
Well, I’ve reread My Lady Jane – one of my absolute favorite books in the world! The reason I reread it at this point of time was in preparation (and honor mostly) for My Calamity Jane, which was just released. So, here are my thoughts the second time around and things might or might not have changed! Additionally: this will not be a “normal and formal” review, but more of a favorite/new aspects list!

It’s been quite a while, but I’m back: several tests done, two to go. Anyways, I am super excited to get back on track and why not start with Let’s Talk Bookish – especially, when I suggested the topic. I’m super interested what all the other came up with, so if you’ve participated: comment! Let’s Talk Bookish is as always hosted by Dani @ Literary Lion and Rukky @ Eternity Books!

Finally, after a very (too) long time, I’ve managed to finish rereading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire for the second time. It was the last book I read during last year’s Harry Potter Rereading Marathon (a private one haha) and I just had to continue this year. I have had a super filled week full of family (my cousin just bought the house opposite of my aunt’s and the whole family joined in and is helping him move in!), school and reading. And so I’ve had to make the tough choice of ignoring my blog for a couple of days in order to achieve my daily goals (no, I have not done so today, I still have to practice my Spanish presentation for Monday – adios amigos!). Anyways – here are my thoughts!
continue readingBroadchurch – Mini Review
It’s been one hell of a week – I’ve been living at my aunt’s house, writing and doing things for school, watching series and going out and tragically, never being able to finish a book. I’m still in the middle of Goblet of Fire (I hope to finish it this weekend) and have just finished watching the first season of Broadchurch with my mum and we are absolutely stunned – so here’s a small review!
continue readingChain of Gold – Spoiler Review
Chain of Gold left such an impression on me and impacted me more than I thought. I have the urge to talk more about the book, to go into detail and so here is my SPOILER review. Please, if you haven’t read the book and consider to do so, read my other review (click here).
