Top Ten Tuesday: the reasons why I love my favorite books!

I just had my Faust exam and I’m super happy to finally have it off my back and to actually say: that wasn’t too bad! Not the best essay ever written, but the exam ones rarely are (at least in my case!). It’s time for another tag and today’s theme was the reason I love… and I chose my favorite books: they’re loved all over the world, but everyone has slightly different reasons or sees the potential in different aspects, so here are the ultimate reasons why I love my favorite books!

It’s Tuesday, I’m currently watching Blacklist with my mother, but just now her friend called and she doesn’t seem to stop talking any time soon – so here we go! Here are the books I wish I’d read as a child – some of them I read later, some of them I never had the chance to catch up on!

The books that defined me over the last decade – Listed!

I saw this over at Lori’s blog, so the credits definitely go to her, but this is so emotional, that I need to write this as well. Books definitely define you as a person, and the last decade was the most important one of my life: it was primary school until the almost end of high school and that’s the most influential time as a young person. Naturally, there are many books that defined me, here’s the list and how they managed to change my life!

September Wrap-Up & October TBR

September flew by extremely fast. It was an overwhelming moth for me as I now have a complete new school system and had to adjust and process this huge change. Hence, I didn’t have much time for reading and found myself in a real reading slump – so this should be fun! Here’s my overview for September and some ideas for this upcoming month!

Small update: I am currently attending a school seminar as one of the student board representatives at my school – so this is written on Monday instead of Wednesday! I hope I’ll survive being stuck in the middle of nowhere without wifi nor a train station; at least some friends are tagging along! Anyways, here’s my current reading situation!

It’s been the craziest first day of school for me (yes, school started on a Wednesday, I know that’s weird). I’m attending an international school and I’m a junior now, but the system changed and now everything is different, my timetable sucks and I didn’t get the best teachers… Anyways, I hope to find some peace and quiet here and regain the positive energy I lost being annoyed, so let’s go!
