WWW Wednesday

It’s been the craziest first day of school for me (yes, school started on a Wednesday, I know that’s weird). I’m attending an international school and I’m a junior now, but the system changed and now everything is different, my timetable sucks and I didn’t get the best teachers… Anyways, I hope to find some peace and quiet here and regain the positive energy I lost being annoyed, so let’s go!

#1 What are you currently reading?

Don’t hate me: I am rereading Warriors. For a long time, I have hated this series (after originally reading it) because I reduced it to being a series about just animals who have their own legal system. I know, it’s not what I normally read, it’s high fantasy and most people read it as children, but it’s actually a nice flashback into my childhood as I link many great experiences and adventures to the time of exploring the series Warriors. I guess what I am trying to say is that by reading this series again, I am escaping today’s world where I am growing up too fast, where school is taking up a huge part of my life and where I don’t have much time to be a kid anymore.

#2 What was the last book you read?

Besides reading the first book of Warriors, the last complete book I read was The Unhoneymooners. The more I think about this book, the more confused I get. On the one hand, the story was actually terrible: everything was predictable, the characters were nothing special and the whole theme of being in Hawaii on someone else’s honeymoon was completely overshadowed. However, it was funny and exciting and it was a good beach read where you don’t want to read such massive books like Sapiens where brain activity is needed. So I am torn.

#3 What do you think you’ll read next?

Besides continuing with Warriors, I am building up the courage to start with The Night Circus which I have been avoiding. However, many of you commented on my post books on my TBR that I’m avoiding, where this one was number #1 that they absolutely loved it – so I’ll just get over my fear, grab it and start! Wish me luck!

That’s it – writing this let off some steam of mine, so one thing accomplished today! I hope you’re not having such a bad school start as I am (my parents will probably say that I am overdramatizing everything later), so enjoy your day and happy reading!

I'm a huge fan of Draco Malfoy, I love scones and tea time, I don't like horror movies and obviously I'm a huge book nerd.

    1. Thanks so much! And yes, the nostalgia is AMAZING, I am feeling like a nine year old again haha and I love it, let’s be honest!
And yeah, that was sad, but I didn’t expect it to be excellent, I was just happy to be entertained and so that was okay!
And I am loving the Night Circus, I am 50 pages in, the writing is (positively) peculiar in a sense of it being whimsical and magical…
And thanks so much, the first days were super overwhelming but I hope so as well! Hope you are also having a great start!!!!!
