Book Bingo 2018

I’ve always loved the idea of Bingo! Sometimes in school, me and my friends would create a bingo of phrases teachers use often and see who could catch them first! Anyways, here are my results for Book Bingo 1018!

The themes I accomplished:

A book with more than 500 pages

Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare

A book written by someone under thirty

War Storm by Victoria Aveyard

A book with non-human characters

Cinder by Marissa Meyer

Androids count, right?

A book you heard about online

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

I read most of my books because other bloggers PRAISED them, so that wasn’t that hard to accomplish!

A book that became a movie

The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas

I haven’t seen the movie yet, but I can’t wait!!!

A funny book

My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Jodi Meadows and Brodi Ashton

A funnier book than this one is very hard to find, but not impossible – but it’s definitely the funniest I read in 2018!

A best-selling book

Paper Towns by John Green

Yes, I know it’s pathetic, but I only read it in 2018. Which feels like ages ago because it was in February.

A book that is more than 10 years old

A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin

It counts even if I’m still in the middle of it, doesn’t it?

A book published this year

The Cruel Prince by Holly Black

A book by a female author

An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir

That’s easy because most of the books I read were written by women!

A book set in a different continent

Winter by Marissa Meyer

The future Beijing counts, right?

The second book in a series

Scarlet by Marissa Meyer

Since I read the whole series The Lunar Chronicles, it’s not that hard to find!

A book with a number in the title

99 Days by Katie Cotugno

A book with a mystery

The Case for Jamie by Brittany Cavallaro

You can never get enough of a Sherlock Holmes retelling!!!

A book of Non Fiction

The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo

I read very little Non Fiction books, so I was a little terrified at that question!

A book with a blue cover

Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson

And isn’t that cover beautiful?!

Bingo!!!

Yes!!! I’m so relieved I made it! It kind of makes up for the low number of books I read this year – just over fifty if anyone was wondering. I hope you enjoyed this little creative post and have a great day!

I'm a huge fan of Draco Malfoy, I love scones and tea time, I don't like horror movies and obviously I'm a huge book nerd.
