The A-Z Survey

We all love book tags, don’t we? And this little tag is the just the perfect mix of all questions involving books and therefore was irresistible!

A – Author you’ve read the most books from

Since I read all of the original 21 Famous Five books by Enid Blyton, I guess she even tops Cassandra Clare whom I would have chosen if not for Julian, Dick, Anne, George and Timmy!

B – Best sequel ever

I have read this book approximately three years ago, but until this day, I remember how great Jennifer Estep’s sequel of the Black Blade series was! Although I loved all three of the books, perhaps the second was my favorite!

C – Currently Reading

Finally started Leigh Bardugo’s original Grisha Series, Shadow and Bone after loving Six of Crows and I must say, I am completely in love!

D – Drink of Choice while reading

A good old cup of tea. Earl Grey, Darjeeling or English Breakfast, as you can tell I love Great Britain and therefore, what could I love more than tea? And tea time. And shortbread. And Harry Potter. And the Royals.

E – E-Reader or physical book

Definetely physical book. I tend to never finish books when I read them on my kindle so I never do that anymore. Only when a book is released and it’s Sunday and no store is open and it would have crushed me to wait until tomorrow.

F – Fictional character you would have dated in high school

Haha, that’s a funny question. Probably Julian Blackthorn, Richard Gansey III, Kaz Brekker or Jeffrey Tifton.

G – Glad you gave this book a chance

Actually Cassandra Clare’s Lady Midnight. It was my first book of her and I had literally never heard that name before. I hesitated four times in four different book stores before I bought it because it was 20$ and I didn’t want my dad waisting 20$ for a book that wasn’t worth buying, but he talked me into it. Best thing I ever did was buy that dime of a book!

H – Hidden gem book

Not a lot of people know this series by Kerstin Gier because Ruby Red is her famous peace but Silber is way better! It’s originally written in German and therefore maybe hard to find, but my dad (as always) did some research!

I – Important moment in your reading life

Starting my blog on February 3rd 2018. It’s been a hell of a ride since!

J – Just finished

Roomies by Christina Lauren. Review coming up soon!

K – Kinds of books I won’t read

Romance, Science – Fiction and Thriller. I’m more that fantasy girl.

L – Longest book you’ve read

Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare. I absolutely loved it!

M – Major book hangover because of…

This one.

N – Number of bookcases you own

5 and a half.

O – One book you’ve read multiple times

I read the third Harry Potter during my vacation in Venice and I think I read it twice there and at least once more at home.

P – Preferred place to read

My bed or my armchair.

Q – Quote that inspires you/ gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read

May Djel watch over you until I can once more. Nina to Matthias, Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo. It breaks my heart every time I think of it and I think it will never stop, no matter how many times I’ve seen it.

R – Reading Regret

Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake was my biggest reading regret in all of 2018.

S – Series you started and need to finish

The sequel of An Ember in the Ashes has impatiently waited on my bookshelf way too long. It’s about time I start.

T – Three of your all-time favorite books

The Penderwicks by Jeanne Birdsall. Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare. Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling.

U – Unapologetic fan for…

wrinkles on a book’s spine!!!! It’s so satisfying.

V – Very excited for this release, more than for all others.

This was a VERY tough choice because there are soooooooooooooo many great books to be released in 2019! It kills me. But whatever Cassandra Clare writes, count me in!

W – Worst bookish habit

Buying books because I think I will enjoy them. Five years later: still haven’t read them yet.

X – X marks the spot: start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book

Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater. It’s funny that she’s called Stepfather in German, just a quick fun fact.

Y – Your latest book purchase

Winter by Marissa Meyer. And what a great purchase that was!

Z – Zzzzz snatcher. The last book that kept you up way too late

I can usually stop myself but I completely forgot the time. Not a casual thing for me.

I tag: Kaya, Ruqs, Lori, Evelyn and Sha. Of course, don’t be obligated to do the tag!!

I hope you enjoyed this post, it took me longer than expected! Have a great day!

Author: Blogger Books

I'm a huge fan of Draco Malfoy, I love scones and tea time, I don't like horror movies and obviously I'm a huge book nerd.
