Top Ten Tuesday: my favorite opening lines!

I actually planned on writing my own post on opening lines after this, but then discovered it’s today’s topic (spooky), but great for me, less work and more reading! I love opening lines as they can overwhelm you and make you fall in love with a book instantly or making you realize that you’re maybe not made for that book – so they have a lot of power, probably more than they realize.

Let’s Talk Bookish: how to write your favorite post!

What a great idea: explaining how you write your favorite post. I’m super torn between discussion writing and doing a tag, but since “how I do tags” can be answered in one sentence – I answer the questions/state my opinion -, let’s do the discussion post! So here’s my blogging 101: how I write my discussions! Let’s Talk Bookish is as always hosted by Dani @ Literary Lion and Rukky @ Eternity Books!

Top Ten Tuesday: the reasons why I love my favorite books!

I just had my Faust exam and I’m super happy to finally have it off my back and to actually say: that wasn’t too bad! Not the best essay ever written, but the exam ones rarely are (at least in my case!). It’s time for another tag and today’s theme was the reason I love… and I chose my favorite books: they’re loved all over the world, but everyone has slightly different reasons or sees the potential in different aspects, so here are the ultimate reasons why I love my favorite books!

Rereading Faust to prepare for my exam – Reflexion

I read Faust during the Christmas holiday and so it’s been a while: we talked about the drama during the whole months of January and February and actually wanted to write our exam straight away, but then corona and lockdown complicated the situation. I’m back in school now and have to take my exam on Tuesday and so I’ve had so spend a little more time with Goethe again – so here are my new and more-structured, well-informed thoughts!

Let’s Talk Bookish: serious books!

Another week is over and I have not been able to read ONE page. One of my best friends was again staying over because her house is too far from school and I loved our time together, but my reading life suffered – but we had extreme quality time, so no regrets! Anyways, I’m back and will try to read more next week. Today I’ll be discussing serious books: why I read them, my very real struggles, some favorites and some TBR’s! Let’s Talk Bookish is as always hosted by Rukky @Eternitybooks!

Let’s Talk Bookish: what makes a good villain?

I’m finally back: the first week of school was a killer and I didn’t have time to read ONE page, or even check up on my blog. So, I’m back, but a day late. Anyways: today I’ll be discussing a good villain – what makes a good villain and personal favorites! Let’s Talk Bookish is as always hosted by Rukky @Eternitybooks!

Top Ten Tuesday: my bookish party!

Here we go again, two days back in school and it’s a totally different world: I can’t hug my friends, no group work, only some special courses and everything with a great distance. The only two big advantages: one of my best friends is staying at my house because hers is too far from school to drive there every day for only two hours to spend there – and we all get to bike to school together. That’s my corona update, here we go now with the bookish part. I invite you all to my bookish party and will describe it!

April Wrap-Up + May TBR!

I’m a day late and I haven’t posted much lately: I’ve had a very stressful home-school week as we start school on Monday (the seniors, 2 meters apart and I’m super happy to see my friends again, but waking up at 6.30am again is going to be torture) and I had the worst migraine yesterday – so I was super inactive 😦 But anyways: here are all the books/ bookish things about last month and my reading goals for May!
