The Book Blogging Firsts Tag ft. me exposing myself

It’s Friday, so actually I should be writing my Let’s Talk Bookish discussion, but it’s a freebie and I was also tagged by Rukky@Eternitybooks to do this super cute tag and so I’ll just share some cringy first blogging moments and experiences!

First blog name and design?

Okay, it does not start quite as exposing as anticipated: my name has always been BloggerBooks, and the design is the original one! I don’t know, I’ve always wanted to change the design and name, but I’ve come to really like it and so I’ll stick to the 14 year old me choices!

First blog post?

Fair question, but actually not. Probably everyone who has at least read one of his books has seen the high value of his writing, the reflection of his stories and the humor his characters have. So far I have read three books he has written (The Fault in Our Stars, Paper Towns and Turtles all the way down) and I am deeply impressed by his writing skills.

Introduction of my first post

WHY I AM OBSESSED WITH JOHN GREEN is the first post I’ve ever posted. Wow. This is pure exposition, people.

First book review?

With humor, sadness and tragedy this books gives you a new perspective of illness by being able to explore it along with such a young woman sentenced to death. Being together, and being able to live and to love, changes their life.

part of the review

The first book I reviewed was John Green’s The Fault in Our Stars and I now realize that was practically only reciting the story line and not stated why it was a great read?! What a review!

First meme participated in?

Bildergebnis für stacking the shelves saturday

I actually figured out that there were tags/memes for weekdays pretty late. I think it was half a year after starting my blog that I started and back then wanted to write a meme post for everyday of the week (now I’m happy when I’ve managed to post three posts a week!). Stacking the shelves was my first one as I’ve discovered memes on a Saturday haha!

First discussion post?

I’ve never participated in a discussion – until Let’s Talk Bookish came along! I’ve been discussing bookish questions every Friday since September 2019 and it’s been great!

First book blog I followed?

The first blog I’ve followed is, up until now, one of my favorites: Kaya @afictionalbookworm!!!

First follower?

Wow, my first follower’s Karo! Thanks so much for sticking to my blog for more than 2 years!

First book I read because of other bloggers?

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children! It was the book that introduced me to the genre YA fantasy (the name). Of course, I had read many YA fantasy books before, but actually didn’t know the name of the genre haha!

Tagging: Kaya @afictionalbookworm – Sahi @myworldofbooks – Evelyn @evelynreads – Rendz @readingwithrendz (no pressure, as always!)

That’s it – I’m off on a short trip with my aunt, so see you next week! Have a great weekend and happy reading!

Author: Blogger Books

I'm a huge fan of Draco Malfoy, I love scones and tea time, I don't like horror movies and obviously I'm a huge book nerd.

    1. Thanks so much! I used to be obsessed with him (I think you could tell haha), however, while I still like him, I’ve come to realize that there are many flaws in his story that I wasn’t able to discover when I first read his books…. Now, however, I feel like there are so many more authors that are even better but sadly don’t get the same hype…
      And happy reading!
