The Coffee Book Tag

I’m not a fan of coffee. To state this first of all. But I like hot cocoa and Starbucks so I guess I can do this tag anyways! I saw Lori’s Bookshelf Reads do this tag and I loved her answers so: here we go!

Black: Name a series that’s hard to get into but has hardcore fans

cover

I KNOW IT’S NOT A SERIES BUT I found Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights very difficult to get into, to be honest! I stopped reading after a couple of pages – but I will definitely finish since it’s a classic!

For a series, I’d say Three Dark Crowns!

Peppermint mocha: Name a book that gets more popular during the winter or a festive time of year

I would say mystery books are especially requested during Halloween, but since I haven’t read as many mystery books, I’m going with Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson.

Hot Chocolate: What’s your favorite children’s book?

The Penderwicks can still be read when your in high school like me or even as an adult, but Jeanne Birdsall’s masterpiece is a children’s book! This family is just so lovable, funny and to adore!

Double Shot of Espresso: Name a book that kept you on the edge of your seat from start to finish

Praise for Leigh Bardugo’s Six of Crows! This is the most compulsive book I’ve ever read!

Starbucks: Name a book you see everywhere

Who would have thought of that?! PS: I chose this pic because this is such a rare scenario – Snape and Harry, I mean!

That hipster coffee shop: Give a book by an indie author a shoutout

I have never read a book by an indie author, sorry!!

Oops! I accidentally got decaf: Name a book you were expecting more from

Although I loved Veronica Roth’s start of the story, Carve the Mark, I didn’t like its sequel because it was slightly boring!!

The perfect blend: Name a book or series that was both bitter and sweet but ultimately satisfying

I’m going with Lori’s answer on this question. The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare because at the time I read them, with approximately thirteen years, I was obsessed with this series!

I tag:

Evelyn Reads

and of course, Kaya

I hope you enjoyed this tag and have a great day!

Author: Blogger Books

I'm a huge fan of Draco Malfoy, I love scones and tea time, I don't like horror movies and obviously I'm a huge book nerd.
