Top Ten Tuesday: books I hope to find under my tree!

Merry Christmas everyone! It’s Christmas Eve again, I have waited all year long for this day to come (as you can tell, this is my favorite holiday!) and now it’s finally here – my aunt, my mum and I just prepared our annual festive dinner, later we’re all going to church and then the whole family is coming over. So in case Santa reads my blog, here are all the books I hope to find under my tree!

I’m hoping to find 5 books under my tree (I have a really long TBR list, but I’m wishing for some other things, so I had to make some hard choices!):

Fireborne by Rosaria Munda is a new YA fantasy book which I’m super excited about! It’s a chosen one story titled “Game of Thrones meets Red Rising” and I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve never been a huge dragons in books fan (I haven’t even read Eragon), but this story sounds so captivating, I just couldn’t help it!

Hamlet by Shakespeare is the book I’m the most eager to read! Ever since I read If We Were Villains at the start of the year, I’ve been wanting to read Shakespeare because it impressed me so much while reading.

A Poem for Every Night of the Year is a collection of poems for (as it says) every day of the year, fitting to the date! I saw this at a hotel library this summer and skimmed it and I absolutely loved it. I’ve always wanted a poem collection, but not one featuring only one author, but many. And as this one features many famous ones like Walt Whitman, Shakespeare or Egdar Allan Poe, I decided this is the one!

The Gilded Wolves and A Curse so Dark and Lonely are the two YA Fantasy books I’ve been super interested in the past year. I’ve been in search of some great new YA fantasy series lately and these two both promise a great plot on the one hand and everyone seems to love them on the other!

That’s it for today, I have to get ready now! I wish everyone whose celebrating MERRY CHRISTMAS and for everyone who isn’t, a great time with your loved ones! Tell me, what are you hoping to find under the tree, feel free to comment!

I'm a huge fan of Draco Malfoy, I love scones and tea time, I don't like horror movies and obviously I'm a huge book nerd.
