WWW Wednesday

It’s Wednesday again and that means a weekly update on my current reading situation!

What are you currently reading?

Here’s where the problem starts. My dad was in the hospital on Monday and so I haven’t been reading much. Luckily, I’m so relived, nothing severe happened and we got out the best way possible. I finished my last book on Sunday and so I’m kind of not reading anything at the moment, but have a lot of books currently in progress.

I started reading The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O on Saturday, but I have kind of mixed feelings. There was a lot of unnecessary and boring information, but since I’m only 35 pages in, I’ll give it another shot.

Also started reading How Not to Be Wrong but was too tired. All in all, this book is really great and also eye opening and you have a lot of aha moments, but you can only read it if you a) have the nerves for mathematical thinking right now and b) are not tired and ready to focus.

What did you recently finish reading?

A Question of Holmes by Brittany Cavallaro and I loved it! I’m so sad the Charlotte Holmes series is over, but I’m super happy I gave this book a shot so fast. Originally, I wasn’t sure how I would feel about it because I had the feeling there was nothing more to tell aka. the story was finished after The Case for Jamie, but no. The story was refreshing and the mystery was the kind you wanted to solve badly and the characters were same old, same old.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m flying to London this Saturday and I’ll probably buy Stalking Jack the Ripper which I have wanted to read very badly for quite some time. There will also be Iboy on the list, as it’s for school and some classics along the way as well!

So that’s my current reading situation, not too glamorous, I know. Enjoy your day!

I'm a huge fan of Draco Malfoy, I love scones and tea time, I don't like horror movies and obviously I'm a huge book nerd.
