Although my mother often calls me a “drama queen”, I have to say I haven’t acted all too dramatically when it comes to books. We’ll see anyways! About the meme: Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish, but is now moved to That Artsy Reader Girl!
#1 Said no to meeting with my friends
Once or twice, it happened that my friends asked me to do something after school and I said no because I was in the middle of a book I had been waiting for a long time. It’s not a every week situation, tho.
#2 Packed an extremely heavy bag that contained more than three books which my mom has to carry
My parents are divorced, which means I have to switch houses every two days which can be kind of annoying and exhausting. And with switching houses comes that I have a huge bag where all my current school things are in plus the book I’m currently reading. But when I have two or three books I maybe want to read, I put them all in. That’s usually when my mom is mad because she has to carry the bag.
#3 Spent too much money
My parents do buy all my books for me because I always tell them I could also be a child who doesn’t like reading. But sometimes when I’m on vacation, I know I want to buy a lot of books there and then pay with my own money. That can lead to too much.
#4 Counted down the days…
This happens very very rarely, but when I can’t patience myself, I count down the days every single day. It happened with The Queen of Air and Darkness and War Storm.
#5 Didn’t pay attention in school
To be fair, I am a nerd. There’s no reason to deny this fact that everyone in my surrounding has already acknowledged. But sometimes I just can’t pay attention in class when there is a very special book at home, like one I have been waiting years to be released.
#6 Stayed up too late
That doesn’t happen very often because I really need my sleep, but sometimes, when the book is really good and I think Come on, you can read the last 100 pages tonight, I stay up a little longer.
#7 Brought a book to inappropriate locations/occasions
I usually take a book everywhere I go when I know there will only be people I don’t know or don’t like. Sometimes even to family events which has nothing to do with my family, I love them endlessly (just to clarify haha). But sometimes I just get so bored and then I’m happy to have entertainment when my internet doesn’t cooperate.
This is really everything I can think of and is also not very outrageous. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this small post and have a great day!
I blogged about bringing a book to an inappropriate location, too!

Very cool post! I loved all your answers! I am guilty of #6 myself – but what can I say? Sometimes a book is so addicting that you just can’t help it. And I feel the same too! Like my mind keeps telling me – It’s just a couple pages more . . . you can do it! – And pretty soon, it’s the morning LOL

There’s no such thing as an inappropriate location for a book! (At least not as far as we bookworms are concerned.) 🙂

I can so relate to spending too much money on books lol. It’s a really easy thing to do sometimes. I earned a sort of “reputation” with my family (both sides) because I always bring books to family events, too. Less so now that I’m older and only see my family maybe once or twice a year, so I actually have things to say to them, but I was always the person hanging out in a corner with a book, staring daggers at people who dare interrupt me. I see you several times a month. Go away now. Stuff is going down. xD
Here’s my TTT post.
