My bookshelves are my favorite things in my room, aren’t they every bookworm’s favorites? And so I thought, why not share them!
#1 How many bookshelves do you have

I have three bookshelves at my mom’s house (and another one in the corner of my room but it’s a total mess and I’m not proud of it).

And then I have the same bookshelf at my dad’s house, just twice the size! And two smaller ones, one over my bed and one next to my desk!
#2 How many books are on your bookshelf
I counted them right before writing this but forgot the exact number! I think it was a little over 500 and then my many comics which I did not count because that would have taken ages!
#3 How do you organize your books
I organize by ratings (my favorites get the most visible spots), then by author, series or single books and read and to be read!
#4 What’s the oldest book on your bookshelf

My oldest book is the oldest german version of Five run away together by Enid Blyton. It was my uncle’s and then my dad’s when he was small and I guess now it’s mine!
#5 What’s the newest book on your bookshelf

My newest book is Becoming by Michelle Obama and it was a Christmas present from my uncle!
#6What is the longest book on your bookshelf

My longest book is The Complete Illustrated Stories and Poems by Edgar Allan Poe with 973 pages! I have not read the complete book, but I read some stories and Annabel Lee which is my favorite poem in the whole universe!
#7What is the shortest book on your bookshelf

My shortest book is my edition of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s Le Petit Prince which we read in German class and preformed in school!
#8 What is the predominant genre on your bookshelf
The predominant gerne is YA fiction and fantasy!!!
#9 Do you have any signed copies

I bought Cassandra Clare’s Queen of Air and Darkness as a signed copy! And I love it!
#10 Do you have any decorations on your bookshelf

#11 Explain your bookshelf!

Let’s go from left to right!
The left bookshelf contains Classics (top row), then Favorites (second row), then books I read in 2018 (third row), then my TBR (fourth) and then school – and yearbooks. The bookshelf in the middle contains non-fiction books (first row), Shadowhunters (second row), Harry Potter (third row), Diary of a Wimpy Kid (fourth row) and TBR (fifth row). The bookshelf on the right contains dictionaries (first row), my favorite Children’s books (second row), random series (third row), small books (fourth row) and then my notebooks where I write (sixth row).

At my dad’s I have my comics and non-fiction books (first row), my Favorites (second row), my Enid Blyton shelf (third row), and then just books I don’t read anymore or didn’t like (fourth and fifth row)!
#12 What’s your favorite part of your bookshelf

My favorite part is from my left bookshelf at my mom’s: the top three rows. I have Jane Austen, Emily Bronte, the Six of Crows Duology, the Lunar Chronicles, My Lady Jane, my John Green books, and then The Cruel Prince, The Hate U Give, Top Ten: so all the books I read throughout 2018!
#13 Tag someone
I tag Kaya, Ruqs and Rendz! Of course, don’t feel obligated to do this, it took quite a while, is all I’m saying!!!
I hope you enjoyed this post with many many pictures and have a great day!

I loved this article, I am book mad. My bookshelf is a mess, mainly because I encourage the kids to take books to read and they never go back where they should!
My oldest book is a bible, given to me at my christening in 1975. Although I am a Buddhist, I still take time to read bits from it now and again.
Thanks for a great read
