WWW Wednesday ft. Harry Potter all the way!

It’s time for another post about my reading situation, I haven’t posted a WWW Wednesday for sooo long! And since I’m all about the Harry Potter Rereading Marathon right now, this should be fun (and I have an essay to write and so this is the best excuse!).

#1 What are you currently reading?

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix | Text Book Centre

I am in the very middle of Order of the Phoenix and I am enjoying every minute of it. It’s now the third time I’m reading this book and I have to say, you always discover new details! I mean, I know the story by heart now, and of course all the movies didn’t help me forgetting, but all the small scenes in class and playing Quidditch were cut out of the movies and are so precious! The Hogwarts experience really is too much to handle at the moment!

#2 What was the last book you read?

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Harry Potter 3, Band 3 ...

Last week I was craving a really gripping book and since I’d never read Prisoner of Azkaban in English, it was the perfect choice! I felt scared when Sirius came into the dormitory with a knife standing over Ron’s bed, I was full of excitement as the match Gryffindor vs. Slytherin dawned, my heart leapt when Sirius and Lupin explained everything and I was constantly worried if Harry and Hermione would make it back in time when they saved Sirius. It was a pure rollercoaster and I LOVED it!

#3 What book do you think you’ll read next?

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Harry Potter 4, Band 4: Amazon ...

Well, it was about to come up, wasn’t it? And I skipped Goblet of Fire for the dumbest reason ever: Ron, Harry and Hermione are on bad terms for like 150 pages in the book and to be honest, I can’t handle when they don’t support each other. I’m a harmony person and so I was really not in the mood to have them fight, so yes. I skipped this book because of something so ridiculous even though the rest of the book is fabulous and was in fact my favorite reread as it’s action-packed, I love the three schools and worlds colliding and the Yule Ball and obviously, Voldemort’s return…

That’s it for today! I hope you enjoyed this post FULL of Harry Potter – enjoy your day and happy reading!

I'm a huge fan of Draco Malfoy, I love scones and tea time, I don't like horror movies and obviously I'm a huge book nerd.

  2. It is interesting that you skipped Goblet of Fire because “Ron, Harry and Hermione are on bad terms for 150 pages”. It means you care about the characters. I can’t even remember them being on bad terms there which means I need to re-read it. Goblet of Fire is my least favourite book of the series – maybe also because of this feud which I cannot recall – oh, is it when Ron becomes jealous that Hermione went to the ball with Krum? 🙂 Feuds mean romantic tensions, I guess.

    1. I do care about the characters a lot haha! Besides the world, they’re my favorite aspect of the series! And no, I meant the feud where Ron gets jealous after Harry’s name is put into the Goblet even though he didn’t do it… And then they’re mad at each other during the first trial… And haha I love the Hermione Ron Krum feud, it’s hilarious!!!! One of the aspects why I actually loved the rest of Goblet of Fire was because of the new characters from Durmstrang and Beauxbatons!! Happy reading!
