What a day it’s been: I spent more than three hours writing an essay on Faust (terrible, terrible essay), finished my maths homework and now I’m going to speed through this in order to continue read 1894 before dinner. Anyways, this topic is awesome: I’ll count down my TBR 5-star predictions!
#1 Fireborne by Rosaria Munda

I’ve been wanting to read this book forever, but sadly don’t own it yet and haven’t had the time/nerve to get it. This book is a very recent YA Fantasy release which sounds exactly what I need right now: an epic story, dragons, a fantasy world and “the chosen ones”.
#2 Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare

WOW am I ready for another Shadowhunters series. I know many people were wondering if the books would still be awesome and whether or not she even had good new ideas before Lady Midnight was released – as she had already written two full series in that world. However, The Dark Artifices turned out to be my absolute favorite series and so I have complete faith that her fourth big series will be a hit!
#3 Renegades by Marissa Meyer

This has been on my TBR list for ages and I don’t know why I haven’t read it yet? I loved the Lunar Chronicles and this plot and the characters sound absolutely fabulous and everyone LOVED it.
#4 The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle

I have been wanting to read this mystery/crime novel for more than six months. The plot sounds super complex and I have come to ADMIRE super complex mystery novels, Agatha Christie fan here.
#5 The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han

This might come at a random time and place considering it’s the only contemporary novel so far, but I have a certain feeling that I will love this one. I love summer stories at the beach and you don’t have to think about anything else, just that cute and cheesy story.
#6 The woman in the window by AJ Finn

My first time ever thriller and it’s no coincidence I picked this one to be my first impression. The plot sounds absolutely gripping, it has some psychological aspects and I can’t wait to be thrown off my feet!
#7 One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McManus

This is one of the only YA mystery books I have on my TBR list. After reading Truly Devious, I have come to the conclusion to either read adult mystery or YA Fantasy – call me stupid, but that’s how I role (jk, it just wasn’t right for me and now I’ve decided to try adult crime/mystery first!). However, two friends of mine read this book and said it was one of their favorites – and so here we go!
#8 A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer

I know I’ve talked about this book more than 100 times and all I’m going to say now is: I can’t wait to have some more extra time to finally read this retelling!
#9 The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi

Again, I have already said too much: I can’t wait to read it!
This is one of the most stupid situations ever: I had such a writing flow up until now and now there’s not one more books which I think is going to be a 5-star read?! I will have to get back to my school stuff then… Tell me, do we have any predictions in common, and what are yours? Happy reading!
Great list! I really enjoyed One of Us is Lying and I need to read A Curse So Dark and Lonely. I hope you enjoy all of these!
