10 Bookish Confessions

Here’s a small post to enjoy at the end of 2018 because a) it’s fun and I love tags and b) I’m in the middle of Queen of Air and Darkness and don’t have anything else to post; so here are my 10 Bookish Confessions!
#1 I have more dog-ears in books than anyone can count.
#2 I have two pretty bookmarks I stole from a hotel in Paris (don’t worry, I think the guests are allowed to keep them, and if not, they have enough money anyways) but I never use them.
#3 I often buy the sequel before finishing the first book and then don’t even read the sequel because I found a more interesting book.
#4 Only my closest friends know of my blog, I keep it a secret.
#5 I am very fascinated when the spine of a book starts getting these “wrinkles”, I often bend my books extra hard so that these wrinkles appear a lot. Unnecessary, I know.
#6 I don’t like to borrow books from friends because I think of my relationship with books to be intimate.
#7 If people lend me their books because they think I will enjoy them, I usually forget to give them back to them and even forget they exist.
#8 Before I had this blog, I used to talk to myself or my parents about my favorite books for hours, and annoyed my parents because they couldn’t follow with the plots.
#9 I often annoy my two closest friends when we walk home together and I want to go inside a bookstore. They love me anyways.
#10 I used to not read a single page for weeks when I had the feeling I didn’t have the perfect book and it drove me crazy.
Now you know all my secrets, I hope you enjoyed this small tag! I tag KayaEvelyn and Lori.

I'm a huge fan of Draco Malfoy, I love scones and tea time, I don't like horror movies and obviously I'm a huge book nerd.

  1. I love your answers for this tag! Pretty much everything you said is so relatable… The number of times I’ve “borrowed” books from people and never returned the book or continued with the friendship (not *intentionally* but yes, the book did stick with me longer). The bookmarks I’ve collected from stores and events. AND the absolute inability to walk past a bookstore without going in!! Haha 😀
