Most anticipated books of 2019: starters and single books

There are a lot of sequels coming out in 2019, but let’s not forget the new series to be released and thR many single books! Today, I’ll be listing my most anticipated series starters and single books!

Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare

When disaster strikes the Shadowhunters, James, Cordelia and their friends are plunged into a wild adventure which will reveal dark and incredible powers, and the true cruel price of being a hero…and falling in love.

Cassandra Clare is writing a new Shadowhunters series? Count me in to be the biggest fan! I literally thought after The Dark Artifices, the Shadowhunter legacy would come to an end, but now this? Incredible!!! And I hadn’t even heard of it?

Wicked Saints by Emily A. Duncan

A girl who can speak to gods must save her people without destroying herself.

A prince in danger must decide who to trust.

A boy with a monstrous secret waits in the wings.

Together, they must assassinate the king and stop the war.

I know this book from one of my favorite bloggers, Kaya, who also mentioned it in her most anticipated books post! I am especially excited about this book as I normally don’t read gothic fantasy but this book is everything I love about books: overthrowing a king – love that one -, fantasy, mystery and people’s paths entwining…

One the Come Up by Angie Thomas

It is the story of fighting for your dreams, even as the odds are stacked against you; of the struggle to become who you are and not who everyone expects you to be; and of the desperate realities of poor and working-class black families.

I am so very fond of Angie Thomas’ writing style! I loved THUG, the story, the characters, everything was brilliant and therefore I am very very excited to read another book of this great author!

Those are all the starters and single books I am excited to read throughout 2019! Tell me, what do you think about these books and what are you most excited for? Have a great day!

I'm a huge fan of Draco Malfoy, I love scones and tea time, I don't like horror movies and obviously I'm a huge book nerd.
