For this Thursday, I’ve decided to to The Ultimate Harry Potter Tag because I’m currently super in the Harry Potter spirit!
I am going to leave out the general questions though, as I already posted my Harry Potter Tag where I answered those questions! So, without further do, let’s get into it!
1) Characters:
Which Weasley is your favorite?
My favorite Weasley would be Molly because I love her sense of humor, how she is extremely loving to Harry in one second and then screams at her kids and how she defends her family with everything she’s got.
Which female character is your favorite?
Hermione Granger. That’s obvious, isn’t it?
Which villain is your favorite?
Draco. I’m a huge Draco fan. And to be honest, I don’t see him as a villain: he is a death eater – ok that’s true – but only because of his parents’ influence. And at the end, it’s all good. SO: Draco.
Which male character is your favorite?
Snape. He protected Harry aaaaaall these years, in my eyes, he’s the biggest hero. I love that he is in love with Lily Potter, that’s the biggest twist JK Rowling could have given him.
Favorite Hogwarts Professor?
Difficult question. I loved Lupin because he taught Harry so much, but in the end I think I’ll go with good old Professor McGonagall because she is the best.
2) Would you rather?
Wash Snape’s hair or spend a day listening to Lockhart rant about himself?
Because Snape is my favorite character and Lockhard is TERRIBLE, I would choose Snape’s hair, but ONLY because of that.
Duel against an elated Bellatrix or an angry Molly?
We all know that Molly would do anything for her family, so I definetely wouldn’t go between them!!
Travel to Hogwarts via Hogwarts Express or Flying Car?
Ohhhhh, difficult. I always wanted to fly, but I think I’ll go traditional so I don’t get expelled on my first day!
Kiss Voldemort or give Umbridge a Bubble Bath?
Oh, dear God, I’ll give him ten kisses if that means I don’t have to give Umbridge a bath.
Ride a Hippogriff or ride a Firebolt?
FIREBOLT. The thing about being a wizard is being able to fly.
3) Book to movie adaption
Is there a character which you felt differently about in the movies vs. the books?
I feel like Draco. He is a huge ass in the books but I love him in the movies – probably because of Tom Felton lol.
Is there a movie you preferred instead of the book?
Yes *guilty*. I though the fifth book is extremely long but the movie is really exciting. But that’s an exception – I do love the books more.
Richard Harris or Michael Gambon as Dumbledore?
Michael Gambon. I would have liked to have him if I ever attended Hogwarts because he makes one feel so welcomed.
Your top thing (person or event) which was not included in the movies that annoyed you the most.
During Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Dumbledore and Harry not only visit young Tom Riddle but also his parents and that would be interesting to see.
If you could remake any of the Harry Potter films, which would it be?
I love all of the movies, but I think HP and the Deathly Hallows Pt 1 was the worst (but still good haha, you know what I mean? Bad on a good level) and therefore I would remake that one.
4) Hogwarts
Which Hogwarts House was your first gut feeling you’d be a part of?
Griffindor. Wasn’t it everyone’s while reading the first book?
Which Hogwarts House were you actually sorted into on Pottermore (or any other online-sorting quiz)?
GRIFFINDOR!!!
Which class would be your favorite?
Defence against the Dark Arts. DEFINETELY. I would sooo fit into that.
Which spell do you think would be most useful to learn?
Accio? I would probably get fat though because I wouldn’t stand up anymore lol.
Which character at Hogwarts would you instantly become best friends with?
I guess Hermione because I’m a nerd as well and we would understand each other.
5) Miscellaneous
If you could own one of the three Hallows, which one would it be?
Definetely Harry’s cloak because – as already proven by Harry many many times – it can be useful to spy on people.
Is there any aspect of the books you’d want to change?
OMG all the deaths. I know they’re essential for good story telling but seriously Sirius and my favorite twin? Some deaths weren’t all too necessary and just broke my heart.
Favorite Marauder?
Sirius. Because I love him and his animagus.
If you could bring one character back to life, which would it be?
Ohhhhh, so many people. But I guess Sirius so that Harry can finally rest.
Hallows or Horcruxes?
HALLOWS! We don’t want another Dark Lord.
Which parts of the books/films made you cry?
First of all, all of the deaths (Snape, Sirius and Dobby are the worst for me). Then, the ending. And all the other times I don’t remember but know that they exist because I tend to try due to a book or a film.
What would your Patronus be?
On Pottermore, my Patronus is the blood hound and I couldn’t be more happy.
If you could meet any member of the cast who would it be?
Emma. Because she is an inspiring woman who achieved so much in her life.
Have you played any of the video games?
No. And I will never. I hate video games.
If you were on the Quidditch Team, which position would you play?
Probably keeper. It just sounds right to me.
Were you happy with the ending?
Definetely!
How much does Harry Potter mean to you?
I honestly can’t describe how much it affects me because it’s impossible to explain using language. I was struck by The Harry Potter Studio Tour in London and I have loved the books and movies for so many years now I don’t know how my life would be if I didn’t like Harry Potter – but all of my friends don’t like Harry Potter so I guess it’s possible to survive lol.
Do you think you could ride on a broom?
Haha, funny question. I think it would be hard at first but I would be sooo amazed by it I would try until I’m as good as Harry – which will probably take forever.
What would you do if you had the Marauder’s Map?
Play pranks on my friends? Do a fun sleepover party with them? Explore the secret passages? Go out of school from time to time? I would have endless possibilities…
What spell would you make up and what would it do?
Probably something that coordinates my outfits or washes my hair or studies for me.
