Let’s Talk Bookish: the pros and cons of book blogging!

WOW – first week of senior year is done and it was super fun, but also stressful and overwhelming. So it’s SUNDAY and I only start writing now. My mom is doing the laundry and we’re watching The Untouchables. Best time to blog, huh: anyways, let’s talk about the pros and cons of book blogging! And not to forget: the discussion is as always hosted by  Dani @Literary Lion and Rukky @Eternity Books!

Pro: discussions on important topics!

Books are the very soul of our society, and so the very urgent and important topics are often featured in books. And writing a blog about books is the perfect opportunity to address topics that need to be discussed and focused on – it’s simply a good platform.

Pro: writing what’s close to your heart!

We all have a passion for books, so a book blog is one of the most effective ways to often talk about the things that make us happy!

Pro: talk to others about your favorite books!

One great thing is that you can recommend your favorite books to such a wide range of people, so that they can have a wonderful time reading as well and experience all the best books!

Pro: discover so many new books!

I discovered the majority of my now favorite books through my blog and I am utterly grateful for that! I would have never given them another glance in any bookstore and now they’re such a big part of my life!

Con: staying on track with new releases!

I have not managed that lately, because I have had so much work to do and it requires so much time and strength!

Con: I sometimes stress about writing reviews!

For me, reviews are the most complex entries ever because they require the most thought and processing the book before even writing and then you have to reasonably argument against or in favor of a book and lay down all your reasons for rating it the way you did.
