WWW Wednesday

It’s Wednesday again, I’m at an internship at my aunts and couldn’t be happier! I’ve had some time to catch up on some books and so here’s my current reading situation!

#1 What are you currently reading?

I’ve been jumping back and forth between Harry Potter and the Halfblood Prince and A Darker Shade of Magic. Sadly, after I was just beginning to enjoy myself, I lost a little interest for A Darker Shade of Magic and restarted my Harry Potter Rereading Marathon with book six. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to really connect with VE Schwab’s series because I’ve had so many ups and downs so far. I will continue at some point, but won’t force myself just to be able to say that I’ve read the book – some things are meant to be and others aren’t, so we just have to face the truth: this book won’t become a favorite of mine.

#2 What was the last book you finished?

Only yesterday, I finished my second Agatha Christie novel featuring the famous Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. I read The ABC Murders and although I haven’t had time to review it, let me just say that the story line was fantastic. It was quite a different plot than his other murder cases as this time, they weren’t trying to identify the murderer out of selected and shut off suspects, but were trying to find a homicidal serial killer that could’ve been the whole british population. Nevertheless, the story had a lot of suspense, criminal thinking and murder – a lot of murder. It was a great read, the ending as expected – fabulous, and overall the perfect crime!

#3 What do you think you’ll read next?

It will most definitely be a Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot story, that’s for sure! I’ve now read two of her books and watched three movies and I loved every second of the books/movies. Her crimes are different, yet enjoyable every time and one can only wonder how brilliant her brain was and how she came up with these incredible ideas! She wrote about 30 novels featuring the famous Belgian detective and so I’ll do my research and check which one could be my next read!

That’s it for today, I’ll go for a swim now! Enjoy your day!

I'm a huge fan of Draco Malfoy, I love scones and tea time, I don't like horror movies and obviously I'm a huge book nerd.
