WWW Wednesday

I’m back home and that means that I will have a lot of time for reading stuff I’ve wanted to read for a long time and to hang out with my friends! So here’s my current reading situation and a hopeful outlook on future favorites!

#1 What are you currently reading?

Still in the middle of my Harry Potter Marathon which I am enjoying immensely. There is something really peaceful in reading old childhood favorites, like reading a book on a comfortable armchair in front of a warm fire with hot chocolate and cookies. I’ve already read and the Halfblood – Prince, and the Deathly Hallows, the Order of the Phoenix and I’m about to continue with and the Goblet of Fire. Don’t judge me, I know the order is completely messed up, but I went with the books I was in the mood for the most and those were the later ones with the more mature Golden Trio!

#2 What was the last book you read?

That would also be Harry Potter and will be for a while… I am looking for some new favorites –> next column!

#3 What do you think you’ll read next?

That’s the problem. Of course I’m going to continue my marathon, but I also have a couple of new books I want to try out, but I’m not sure which ones to get and so feel free to comment your choice!

This is a series I’ve been wanting to explore for quite some time now because I fell head over heels for Cinder and her crew. The Lunar Chronicles are absolutely amazing and therefore I want to read some more written by Marissa Meyer. And from what I can tell, fans have been all over this series and the plot sounds absolutely amazing.

I’ve heard so many people going crazy over the past few months and this book is actually THE genre I love and I feel it could be a new favorite?! It definitely has the potential and so it’s definitely on my list and I have to get it!

I read Roomies by Christina Lauren in January and I really enjoyed the writing style and theme. It’s not the my usual genre and story line, but I’ve been in need of a good contemporary / pool and vacation book that’s easy to read and can just take your mind off of things.

I already mentioned this contemporary book in last week’s post because it screams to be read. A contemporary, light and easy read featuring Great Britain and the Royals? Count me in!!

So, that was my current situation featuring Harry Potter on the one hand and some suggestions for my coming purchases! Which books would you recommend from this list? Enjoy your day!

I'm a huge fan of Draco Malfoy, I love scones and tea time, I don't like horror movies and obviously I'm a huge book nerd.

  1. I’m currently listening to “and the Sorcerer’s Stone. I absolutely love this series.

I think Renegades looks like an interesting read!

    1. I’ve never listened to the Harry Potter books, but I’ve heard many people say that the Audio books are magical, so maybe I’ll try them out for a change instead of always reading them!
I also think Renegades sounds interesting, it’s something new – the protagonist being the “bad person”, that’s a factor I found very interesting and intriguing! Have you read her other series the Lunar Chronicles?

      1. I have not, although I do own Cinder. I just haven’t gotten around to reading it. I am terrible about buying new books when I have books I haven’t even read yet.

      2. I know that feeling! Happens to me every time haha, but I just can’t stop myself from buying good looking books and then I forget about them. Not my best habit haha. But you definitely have to read Cinder. I was a bit wary at first because everyone hyped it and the series is pretty long (not in comparison to Harry Potter or anything but still) and so I had the book for a long time before starting but the series is just filled with so much humor and the story is really gripping, I was completely hooked! So it’s really worth it!

    1. hahah yessss do that!!! And me too, I was a little nervous at first because I got scared that it might ruin my positivity on the series, it has done that to some other favorites over the years, sadly, and I didn’t want that to happen to HP, that would have been tragic! And I know, I know Renegades from your blog, actually Marissa Meyer entirely haha
