I’m back in my favorite city in the whole wild world and besides of strolling through the city and eating I have obviously also spent my birthday money. Here are the books I bought today at Waterstones!
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
Besides spending most of my money on Ralph Lauren polo shirts (which I’m obsessed with), I actually managed to buy some really great books and one of them is Erin Morgenstern’s The Night Circus. I’m really excited about this dark fantasy world and I have heard only great things about this book, the cashier even said it’s one of her favorites and so I’m really hyped to read it!
Circe by Madeline Miller
I bought this really hyped book last minute after the second cashier said it’s one of the best books ever and I’m so glad I did. I have read so many reviews on this one recently and everyone’s been loving it, so I guess I got to read it as well! I’m also a really big fan of Greek Mythology (after reading Percy Jackson of course) and so I’m especially excited for this book.
A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab
The last book I bought is my first Victoria Schwab book and please tell me, was it right/ ok to buy this and not start with Vicious (or Vengeful, I’m not sure which one is first)? Anyways, I know absolutely nothing about this author except that everyone always writes reviews and loves her books and that her covers look absolutely stunning. So I’m really really and especially excited to start reading her and again, please tell me if it’s ok to start with A Darker Shade of Magic!
That was all – three books! The actual book I really wanted (Stalking Jack the Ripper) sadly wasn’t available any more, but I’m also really happy about these three as they’re all in everyone’s favorite and international prize winners or bestselling authors! I hope you enjoyed this post and have a great day!
I also started with A darker shade of magic and only read Vicious after I finished the series! And I would say it doesn’t really matter in which order you read them haha

I’ve always wanted to read that, although I have some problems with classics haha… and what’s that other book called, sounds interesting… has it something to do with the BREXIT?

Aw how come? I did a post about it called “spontaneous, exam-celebratory book haul” where I talk more about it 🙂 it’s called ‘how Britain works’ I’m sure Brexit is included but I don’t think it’s the main focus! 🙂
