Shelf Candy Sunday

I am currently reading and loving Marissa Meyer’s Cress – if anyone cares. And therefore I have nothing new to post, so I decided to do a little Weekday Meme. Today, I’ll be talking about my current favorite book cover!

This decision was very easy for me as my dad got this incredible edition of Bram Stoker’s Dracula and other Horror Classics for me and it’s absolutely stunning. It reminds me of the classics I saw at Waterstones in London earlier this year, which I regretted buying soooo much.

Whatever, here are some pictures!

While I WASN’T A FAN of the Dracula movies I watched with my dad, including the one where Gary Oldman played Dracula and the one where Christopher Lee played Dracula, I hope I will enjoy the book. My dad always said “I’m not sure whether the movies are appropriate for you, they really scared me when I was a teenager, all I could do while watching, was laugh. Neither movie was scary – that may have had a tiny bit to do with the fact that I can’t be scared of Sirius Black – but just the whole atmosphere wasn’t a tiny bit scary and the dramatic effects one imagines Vampires posses did not occur.

I therefore hope that I will enjoy the book while the films didn’t win me over! And I hope Bram Stoker doesn’t write too old-timey because sometimes I get bored because of that *guilty.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this small entry that was a little bit too dominated by me shaming vampire movie! Have a great Sunday!

I'm a huge fan of Draco Malfoy, I love scones and tea time, I don't like horror movies and obviously I'm a huge book nerd.
