Shelf Candy Sunday

Sadly, it’s Sunday already, but the good thing is: I love this type of posts! So here, my choice of the best cover for this week!

Isn’t this cover everything? I loved the book itself as Bonnie-Sue Hitchcock is a great writer and The Smell of other People’s Houses is a great story but the cover is on a different level. For the ones who haven’t read the book, well you are just going to have to trust me, but for the ones who have, it fits perfectly, right?

This book takes place eleven years after Alaska becoming the 49th state of the USA and plays in the small town called Fairbanks. It’s the unbelievable story of four teenagers whose lives get entangled, three of them already calling Fairbanks their home. This book is a story about loss, life, death, family and love and besides the cover, I really do love and adore its content.

  1. Great article! I never heard of this book, but based on what you said about it it sounds really interesting. Yet another book to add to my reading list of books to read, LoL. I’m currently reading the sequel to You by Caroline Kepnes.

      1. I’m more of a TV Nerd than a Bookworm Nerd so I usually end up reading books that are going to be adapted. That’s how I found out about the book of You. Otherwise, I would of had no idea it existed, LoL. Definite recommend though!
