For some reason, I believed the corona break would be some kind of stress reliever, to stay at home and do like two hours of school every day, but no: our teachers have been actively sending us work and so I’ve had less time than I would have had in school?! Anyways, that’s the reason I haven’t been active the past week, but thank God, today I had some time to catch up on my reading, and so here are my first impressions of Cassandra Clare’s Chain of Gold!
Wow! I forgot how much I love being thrown into the Shadowhunters universe – it feels so good to be so enchanted by a book again! I wasn’t sure whether I’d be SUPER blown away by this book because Cassie has written so many Shadowhunter novels yet and the synopsis didn’t sound minblowing – but OMG. I love this book.
The only small little issue I have is that we’re being thrown into a different era with Tessa and Will’s children and there are soooo many new names and then people are related everywhere and so I have difficulties keeping up with every character and their families.
Other than that, I am loving everything: the protagonists Lucie, James and Cordelia are awesome characters, the plot is full of action, suspense and secrets and the writing is nothing but spectacular – I love every aspect of being back in the Shadowhunters universe, the atmosphere is so familiar and also getting to know Tessa, Will and Jem’s future is so precious!

Haha.. I have nothing else to do. I don’t have a job, and I’m feeling pretty anxious so reading is all that’s helping me when I can. Even that is becoming a struggle. But just being back in the Shadowhunter world felt comfortable and I couldn’t stop reading 😜😜😜 just posted my review too…
