WWW Wednesday

Happy Wednesday everyone – half of the week is done and I can’t wait for the coming weekend! It’s my grandpas birthday, everyone’s visiting and we’re celebrating all together! This evening, I’m going to the theatre with my bestie, her brother and my mum as my best friend’s mother is interpreting a Spanish play and I’m super excited! On to the bookish part – it’s been stressful, but I’ve tried to get back on track with my reading, so here’s my current reading situation!

#1 What are you currently reading?

For fun, I’ve started rereading Six of Crows – for school, still 1984. I’ve been in a huge reading slump all through January and now I’ve finally found the right book I wish to read so desperately – and now don’t have the time too. Tomorrow, I’ll post my first impressions of rereading SoC, but one thing is sure: rereading has been the best thing that happened to me last week!

#2 What was the last book you read?

Sadly, I made the tough call to not continue reading this for now. I was 350 pages in, but it’s just not the book I need due to the mood I’m in. I need something fast-paced and energetic, and The Missing of Clairedelune sadly missed both of these features. A Winter’s Promise was awesome and this was too, but it will have to wait for a more patient me in order to be fully read and to be enchanted by the awesomeness it really does comprises.

#3 What do you think you’ll read next?

Only yesterday, my dad and I were talking about Martin Walker, how I admired his journey from a British journalist studying at Oxford and writing for the Guardian, to living in France’s Perigord and writing mystery/crime novels of Bruno, Chief of Police. Today, I found the first novel of the series on my mum’s doorstep and I can’t wait to read it, thanks dad!

That’s it – I hope you’ve had a great week so far and happy reading!

I'm a huge fan of Draco Malfoy, I love scones and tea time, I don't like horror movies and obviously I'm a huge book nerd.
