WWW Wednesday

Last day of school is officially done now – tomorrow art class and church and then I’m off decorating gingerbread houses! I’m super happy to have Christmas around the corner and my reading’s also doing great – so here’s my current reading situation!

#1 What are you currently reading?

94 out of 135 pages and Faust isn’t as bad as I (and every other German student on this planet) predicted. It’s actually quite funny, the addressed subjects are deep and it’s not too difficult. It’s difficult, or else you wouldn’t have to read it junior/senior year, but it’s a challenge I think I can master. I’ve already written a first impressions post, which I’ll post tomorrow!

#2 What’s the last book you read?

I read Prince Charming last week and I have mixed feelings. It definetely was an entertaining and cute read, however, there were just so many negative aspects I was unhappy with… The plot felt very staged and unreal at multiple points in the story, the choices were just sometimes really stupid and in general, it had no high and low points, it was just a monotonous story.

#3 What do you think you’ll read next?

I hope to go through with the idea of rereading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban over Christmas. About a year ago, I reread almost every Harry Potter book, but for some reason, my favorite didn’t make it? Anyways, I’m super excited to be enchanted by this wonderful and magical world and just to forget everything else while reading and just enjoy the childhood memories alongside my family and the Christmas spirit – as you can tell, I’m overly excited!

That’s it for today, tell me: what are you currently reading and what are you planning to read over Christmas? Feel free to comment! Happy reading and I hope everyone’s enjoying their week so far!

I'm a huge fan of Draco Malfoy, I love scones and tea time, I don't like horror movies and obviously I'm a huge book nerd.

      1. Ahhh, I’ve read A Christmas Carol (the kids version I think) when I was way younger (like six or seven) and it scared the shit out of me… And I actually own Oliver Twist, so I might give that a shot!
