It’s Wednesday again and without further do, let’s get into my current reading situation!
#1 What are you currently reading?
The Mitford Murders by Jessica Fellowes – and the story is developing beautifully! The characters and the historical London atmosphere are wonderful and I’m excited to finally be able to finish it!
#2 What was the last book you read?
This weekend, I finished the finale of Holly Black’s The Folk of the Air series, The Queen of Nothing. It wasn’t as great as the first two books because there was a small lack of political intrigues, I wasn’t happy with every detail and mostly, Cardan’s unknown intentions were a little disappointing – but that caused only one star. Overall, it was super gripping, the characters just as fantastically developed as in the other books and the writing was overwhelming.
#3 What do you think you’ll read next?
A friend of mine gave me One of us is lying and she said it was one of the most gripping and entertaining books she’d ever read – and I’m ready for that! I haven’t read a contemporary/ mystery YA in quite some time and I’m super excited to read this particular one!
So you weren’t pleased with The Queen of Nothing, but glad you’re enjoying your current read!

Aww, I’m sorry TQoN disappointed you a little. I didn’t read what you fully said because I’m avoiding anything to do with it until I’ve read it myself, but I hope it wasn’t too bad ❤ Happy reading!! I really hope you enjoy One of Us is Lying! I really really liked it 🙂

Totally get you avoided it, I do the same thing! But don’t get discouraged, it still is a great book!
And me too, I’m hoping to get to it this weekend!
