The first Wednesday of November – exams are taking their toll. But I am in a good mood anyways, so here’s my current reading situation!
#1 What are you currently reading?
I discovered this amazing English bookstore in Paris and stumbled across The Mitford Murders, a mystery that has long been on my TBR. Jessica Fellowes is the author of the famous TV show Downton Abbey which I completely adored (and also cried when I watched the movie) and so I am absolutely thrilled to read one of her books. My best friend’s mother (we’re a very huge fan community of me, my mum, my bestie and her mum – we’re two bestie pairs!) owns Belgravia, another book by Jessica Fellowes, but I decided to read ner newest series first.
Anyways, (I wandered off there a bit…) I am really enjoying this book so far. I haven’t read much, maybe three chapters, but the introduction is great and the prologue starts off with the murder which is what I like best – a very very short introduction and a jump right into the story. KISS – keep it short and simple; as my English teacher likes to call it.
#2 What was the last book you read?
The last book I read was the finale of the Silver Trilogy, Just Dreaming, which I will not review because it would be just pure repetition of everything I have already mentioned before. To sum it up: the perfect ending to a magnificent and wonderful series.
#3 What do you think you’ll read next?
I recently watched some videos on Booktube about the “all-time favorite books” and what most stood out was The woman in the window by A.J. Finn. This plot is just super intriguing and I can’t imagine how it will actually turn out and am therefore very excited to read a new thriller!
That’s it – about to watch a movie with my mum and call it a night then! Happy reading!
