Wow – this is going to be a challenge. I’m hoping to find at least five books, but some titles just match so perfectly, I hope I can find sufficient ones! I’ll also try to give the title a little spin of my own, meaning I’m going to get creative and hopefully come up with a different title!
#1 Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard
While I am a total fan of all the other titles of this series, I don’t really like this one. You see, Red Queen, King’s Cage, War Storm and even Broken Throne each have a melody, while Glass Sword is too chopped off. Does that quite explain it? PS: I don’t have a title idea – tragic.
#2 Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by JK Rowling
I know most people have problems with Harry Potter and the Halfblood Prince, I have major issues with Goblet of Fire. For me, the Goblet isn’t what makes this book special. I know it’s the magical object that caused Harry to have to take part in the tournament, but it just doesn’t sound cool enough to become part of the title – but that’s just my opinion.
My title: Harry Potter and the cemetery of resurrection – or is that totally off?
#5 The Case for Jamie by Brittany Cavallaro
Why does a kindergarten pop in my head when I think about the title? Because The Case for Jamie sounds like something you’d write for small children. It could just as easily have been The Case for Winnie The Poo or Dora the Exlporer.
#4 The Penderwicks on Gardam Street
Despite this being my favorite book in The Penderwicks series, I don’t really love the on Gardam Street part. This book offers so much to be used as inspiration. Here are a few of my ideas:
My title: The Penderwicks and the Save-Daddy-Plan; The Penderwicks and the list of horrible women; The Penderwicks, new neighbors and a stolen theatre play
#3 Famous Five by Enid Blyton
It’s not the overall series title Famous Five I’m having troubles loving, that titles is perfect. It’s just some of the book titles that don’t really sound promising and adventuress such as Five have plenty of fun or Five on Finniston Farm.
That’s it – I know it’s not a long list, but what are you supposed to do when all titles are masterpieces such as If We Were Villains or Stalking Jack the Ripper?! If you have any creative titles ideas, feel free to comment! Happy reading!

This post had me cracking up!! But I totally agree with you! Glass Sword literally has three S’s in a row, it really doesn’t roll off the tongue. And Harry Potter and the Cemetery of Resurrection would be such a cool title?! I’m still laughing over The Case For Dora The Explorer😂😂 idk why but it brought to mind this image of Dora standing before a judge in a courtroom lol! Great post!!💜

The Harry Potter one cracked me up, because that would be a really cool title for it, especially since while the goblet played a role, it was the creepy cemetery in the book.
