WWW Wednesday

Small update: I am currently attending a school seminar as one of the student board representatives at my school – so this is written on Monday instead of Wednesday! I hope I’ll survive being stuck in the middle of nowhere without wifi nor a train station; at least some friends are tagging along! Anyways, here’s my current reading situation!

#1 What are you currently reading?

I am in the middle of this breathtaking book I can’t wait to get back to: The Night Circus. I can’t even believe why on earth I was so hesitant to start this – it is honestly one of the most atmospherical books I’ve ever read. I am so overwhelmed by the whole circus atmosphere with the magic and all the whimsical settings and feelings and everything. I am loving the peculiar writing, the setting, the story and the characters and I cannot wait to get back from this school trip and finish it this weekend!

#2 What was the last book you read?

To be perfectly honest, I haven’t been reading much lately. I don’t know explicitly why, but school takes up a lot of time this year, I was sick for quite some time and had also a lot going on in my family… So the last book I read (but not even finished) was the second book in the Warriors series which I actually enjoyed – to my surprise.

So, I am officially saying “excuse me, I haven’t been writing many reviews lately!”

#3 What do you think you’ll read next?

I hope to finish the amazing non-fiction book Sapiens some time in the near future! I really enjoyed this one, like super super super a lot, during the summer break but then juts couldn’t read a non-fiction book after school because it doesn’t relax me the way a great story does. But yes, that’s the ruff plan for this weekend: finishing The Night Circus and hopefully this one as well!

That’s it: I hope you have a great Wednesday! Happy reading!

I'm a huge fan of Draco Malfoy, I love scones and tea time, I don't like horror movies and obviously I'm a huge book nerd.

  1. So glad to see someone enjoying The Night Circus! A lot of people think the book is about the story, but I feel it’s so much more about the atmosphere and writing! I honestly can’t wait for The Starless Sea. So curious to find out whether it’ll be written in the same way!

    1. Exactly! The story isn’t what’s important here, I mean, of course the story is gripping and I’m really curious about the ending, but the description, the setting and the whimsical writing is what makes this book so special! Without it, the plot would be only half as interesting! And what? I hadn’t even heard about that book? I have to look it up 😱😱
      Happy reading!
