“Year 3000“: A book/series set in the way distant future or A book/series that took you on an adventure

The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer are the first books coming to my mind! To be honest, I probably don’t read that many books that are set in the distant future, but if I did, I would have chosen these anyways! I love the Cinder, Scarlet, Cress and Winter, they make up a great team, the plot is fantastic, the characters are amazing and the world is incredible!

“Hold On”: A book/series that took a while for you to get into

I’m one of those people who can’t really make up their mind about Maggie Stiefvater’s The Raven Cycle. It took me a while to get into because I was immensely annoyed that Gansey and Blue only met after the first 200 pages and that was TOO much build-up for that unspectacular scene. I love Gansey and Blue, hate Adam, like Ronan, love the story but hate the slow pace – you see, I can’t make up my mind.null

“S.O.S“: A book/series that you needed saving from

This is an unpopular opinion, I know, but I gravely disliked Veronica Roth’s Divergent. I don’t know why, I ask myself that every once in a while, but I just didn’t click with this book.

“When You Look Me in the Eyes“: A romance that makes you melt into a puddle of goo

Kaz and Inej!!!! I can’t with these two!!!! I love Six of Crows and I know, Nina and Matthias are everything, but Kaz and Inej are just a whole other level!

Sorry, but there is no way I can’t name Emma and Julian in The Dark Artifices! They were my first Cassandra Clare book I read and that’s why they’ll always be special for me!

“Burnin’ Up”: A book/series so good it set you on fire

The Red Queen Series is the perfect match for this category. There are a lot of people who dislike this series saying it’s “not complex” or “see-through” or “basic”, but I think it’s quite the opposite, actually. The story and the theme in general is really complex, it covers revolution, rebellion and politics and is therefore a book that set me on fire.

“Lovebug”: A ship you were not expecting, but it happened and you ship it

To be honest, I didn’t see Neville and Luna coming??? Did anyone else not see that coming or am I just a complete idiot? I don’t know, maybe it was because I read the book when I was younger or something but it came at me like whhaaaat.. anyways, I love them very much and I think they’re a perfect match.

“Paranoid”: A book/series that kept you on your toes the whole time

There is no book that is a better fit for this category than Leigh Bardugo’s Six of Crows. Seriously, there was no way of telling how they were going to survive this heist, no way of knowing what Kaz Brekker was up to and no better ending than what Leigh had in mind. It’s a masterpiece.

“Sucker”: A book/series you would reread over and over again

Silver, the not so famous series by Kerstin Gier, is a series that I can just read over and over and over and over again because I love everything about it and it just makes me happy. The story is unique, funny, exciting and the characters are everything. Whenever I don’t want to start something new, I start reading this series again.

I'm a huge fan of Draco Malfoy, I love scones and tea time, I don't like horror movies and obviously I'm a huge book nerd.

  1. Ahhh!!! This was wonderful! Thank you so much for participating! I loved your answers! I def can understand your conflicting feelings about the Raven Cycle! We share so many answers in common!! ❤ I have actually read the first 2 books of the Silver trilogy, I think I forgot about the last book bc I was waiting for the translation, but they were most definitely interesting!

    1. Thank you!!!! And yes, I was like “I can’t always use the same answers” haha! And you definitely have to finish Silver! And I’m so surprised you know it, nobody (of the bloggers) except me has read it and I’ve only read it because I’m in a German boarding school 😂😂

      1. I read the English translation so while it’s entitled the Silver trilogy, it has different titles that have to do with dreaming! But I have read Gier’s other trilogy (Ruby Red) which is why I picked up Silver too!

      2. I didn’t know that! I read it in German and they’re all called Silber (so Silver in English) and so I had no idea they had different names 😯 and yes, I also picked them up because of Ruby Red, but to be honest, I think this trilogy is wayyyy better than her original!
