March Wrap-Up and April TBR

I can’t believe March is already coming to an end and that it’s my birthday next week! This month was a great reading month and I hope to continue with the same spirits! Here’s my overview of march and my plans for April!

March wrap-Up

Black Rabbit Summer was the first contemporary mystery book I’ve read in a long time and it really opened up a new genre for me. I really enjoyed this book due to its complex and intriguing plot and the great mysterious characters.

Fangirl was the contemporary book I read immediately after Black Rabbit Summer and I must admit, a few contemporary books in between the fantasy reads are really awesome and relaxing. I could really relate to this story and Cath as a protagonist and I really really loved this book.

Contemporary time ended after Rainbow Rowell and I was swept away by Sarah J. Maas’ Throne of Glass. It’s almost everyone’s favorite series and everyone is always talking about this author that, at some point, I knew I had to read it. And I can totally understand the hype. The story was fantastic and the characters were funny and I got really swept away.

For the past few days I’ve been reading Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility and surprisingly, love it.

April to be read

I already bought the sequel to Throne of Glass and so this will definetely play a big role in my April books!

I’m really excited to continue the king’s champion’s story and hope to read more of some characters and plot lines!

I’m also going to London in two weeks and so another classic will definetely be on my shopping list and I think it’ll be Jane Austen’s debut novel Northanger Abbey. I read the synopsis and the humorous plot interested me more than Persuasion and so I think I’ll buy and read this one next!

I also really really want to read Stalking Jack the Ripper as I think it’s exactly the genre I like. And plus, it has a Thorne (from the Lunar Chronicles) type of protagonist and I cannot wait!

I’m hoping this will be an exciting mystery story featuring my favorite city in the whole wild world and so I’m extremely looking forward to this one!

I hope you enjoyed this post and have a great start into April!

I'm a huge fan of Draco Malfoy, I love scones and tea time, I don't like horror movies and obviously I'm a huge book nerd.
