Because I love fall and Bionic Book Worm has this great tag for today, I’m going to do tody’s category about Top Five Cozy Fall Reads!
#1 A Study in Charlotte
I believe fall is the best season for reading mystery because you can get all cozy and warm and still enjoy the heist, but of course, with a mug of hot chocolate. So I’d say, A Study in Charlotte is the best mystery book I have to offer!
#3 The Penderwicks on Gardam Street
Anyone knowing me – or who reads my blog – knows the Penderwicks mean the world to me. Therefore, I can’t write this post without sharing the Penderwicks, even more so when the second novel fits so perfectly to the season! The Penderwicks on Gardam Street takes place during fall season, even mentions Halloween and is just made to be read when it’s all red, orange and yellow outside your window.
#3 The Three Investigators
I don’t know if many of you know this series, but where I come from, everyone has read this. My dad used to read it to me, not as often as the Famous Five but still often enough, and I think (as already mentioned) mystery is the right category for fall and this is basically THE MYSTERY SERIES every child has read.
#4 Paper Towns
I’m a huge admirer of John Green and I think his novel Paper Towns would be a perfect fit to this category!
#5 After Iris
After reading all these mystery books I’m sure everyone is laying their hands on by now, it’s always good – in my opinion at least – to also widen the spectrum of category and therefore I think After Iris – The Gadsby Siblings by Natasha Farrant would be perfect to end the fall season and get ready for white white winter wonderland!
This was it, I hope you enjoyed this tag, have a great day and a great start into autumn!!
